Professional Development Fund

Introduction:

King County Nurses Association is committed to supporting KCNA members with funds to attend continuing nursing education. The purpose of the project is to assist members who do not receive educational funding through their employer and to promote continued nursing education among members.

Courses must be provided by an approved accredited organization (ex. ANCC, AANP, CEU’s approved by the CA Board of Nursing, or CME certified) with contact hours awarded. Recipients will be randomly selected twice per year and notified of the selection within two weeks of the application deadline.

Applications deadlines are October 1 and March 1. We will annually fund a total of 10 awards of $500 each.
